Travel with caution!
We have had a great deal of rain in Cabot over the past 24 hours and the trails are very slushy. Please travel with caution and watch for hidden running water. Grooming was attempted with little luck last night...please be advised that trail conditions are far from ideal.
For your use we have included a link to snow depths around the state. We want you to enjoy the trails even if they are not ours!

Tons of New Snow!
The groomer was out last night but they only groomed the main corridor through the village, up to the rail bed, and back. We have seen a great deal of snowfall the last few days in our area so be careful, as signs may be buried in the snow, and please stay right.
Thank you!

Trails are open in Cabot!
Ted Domey and Mark Codling rode the trails around Cabot the other night and reported that they are in fairly good shape. Luke Persons and Guthrie Perry were out in the groomer Thursday and Mark Codling and Shawn Codling are out grooming tonight, the goal of course is to make sure you all have nice trails to ride in Cabot this weekend.
The club has been getting a lot of flack lately about the condition of trails in Cabot...please remember this is the club's first year grooming and it will take time to figure out grooming techniques, timing, etc., In an effort to do the best job possible, the club has enlisted Luke Persons (the former groomer for Cabot) to mentor the clubs Grooming Team. Please be patient!
Thank you!

Trails are open and in fairly good shape!
Please watch out for open water, due to the warmer weather many areas have not fully frozen. We are putting in pallet tops in the worst areas but some will remain open until colder weather freezes them.
If you have any concerns or questions about the trails please contact a club officer. Please stay on marked trails and be safe!
Thank you!
